In this book, we will learn about the rain and how it helps keep our planet's water supply. Josepha Sherman's "Splish Splash, a Book About Rain" is a must-read. Book Information.   Check out this awesome new interactive book that came out for Spring If you loved This is Owl, you will love This is Frog. A Plague of Frogs is a non-fiction environmental book written by William Souder and published in by Hyperion Press. The book elaborates on the issue of mutated frogs and the implications for humans. Structurally the book is divided into two : William Souder. Rainforest frogs are particularly diverse and vary a lot in size from the tiny northern nursery frog (Cophixalus crepitans) of the Australian Wet Tropics to the largest frog on Earth, the goliath frog (Conraua goliath) that lives in the African rainforest of Camaroon and Equatorial Guinea. Goliath frogs grow to an impressive 32 cm with a weight.   “Frog and toad rains, fish rains and colored rains—most often red, yellow or black—are among the most common accounts of strange rain, reported since ancient times,” author Cynthia Barnett Author: Sarah Zielinski.

Big Frog Can't Fit In by Mo Willems is a great pop-up and pull-tab book about a big, long-legged frog who is sad she can't fit into the book. If only she were smaller, or more bendable. But, her friends have an idea! This is a fun book, but I found that some of the pull-tabs were difficult to operate and were easily damaged. Open Library is an open, editable library catalog, building towards a web page for every book ever published. Rain frog by Janie Spaht Gill, LaRue W. Selman, June , Aro Books Inc. edition, Hardcover in English. There is another frog called the African Clawed Frog (AFC), which is a predator and is illegal in the state of California, so we've never had them or even seen a live one. The African Clawed Frogs are easy to distinguish from the African Dwarf Frogs by the number of claws on their hands and by the location of their eyes on their heads.
